Huawei Enjoy 7s leaked in full, could be announced on Dec 18

Chinese smartphone giant Huawei is gearing up to introduce a new mid-range Android smartphone called Enjoy 7s. Since most of the Enjoy-series phones are often released with different names outside China, you might not have heard about the Enjoy-lineup. Some of the past Enjoy-series phones are – Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus aka Huawei Y7 Prime and Huawei Enjoy 6s aka Huawei Nova Smart.
The Enjoy 7s, which carries the model number FIG-AL00, was first spotted in the database of Chinese telecom certification agency TENAA last month. Now, thanks to a number of leaks, we not only have a press render of the phone, but a couple of live images as well as the full specifications. The date present on the home-screen of the leaked render also suggests that the phone could be made official on December 18 in China.
As per the leaks, Huawei Enjoy 7s will sport a 5.65-inch FullView screen with 2160x1080p resolution. The phone will be powered by the company’s own Kirin 659 octa-core processor. In terms of the software, the Enjoy 7s will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0.
Additionally, the phone will pack a 3000 mAh battery, a microSD card slot dual rear cameras with 13MP and 2MP sensors and an 8MP selfie camera.

Leaked live images of Huawei Enjoy 7s

Huawei is expected to introduce two storage variant of the Enjoy 7s – one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and the other with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will be offered in three colour choices – Gold, Blue and Black.
I am hoping to get details about the pricing on December 18. The company is unlikely to share the international release plans at the China event, but we might see the Enjoy 7s appear with some other name in rest of the Asia and Europe over the next few months.

Huawei Honor 8 and 8 Pro will get Android 8.0 Oreo, confirmed by its CEO

Huawei Honor 8 pro which was launched in India earlier this year will get Android oreo Update. Along with Honor 8 last year device from the company will also get the Oreo Update. As the update for both these devices are confirmed by the CEO of Honor, George Zao in an interview. Huawei has launched already launched few devices which are running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Company has even rolled out oreo update to some its devices. So now we hope that Honor 8 and Honor 8 Pro will get the Oreo update very soon. The Oreo update is packed with Picture in Picture mode, auto fill, notification channels, new revamped settings app, new notification centre and several others. However, the exact date is not given on which the update will release. But CEO of Honor says the software is in testing mode for both these phones and they will get the oreo update very soon. Stable EMUI 8.0 Oreo update rolling out to Honor 9 and Honor V9 Posted: 07 Dec 2017 10:32 AM PST Huawei has been testing the EMUI 8.0 Oreo build on all of its flagships including Honor’s since last month in the form of beta update for select users. But now, the Chinese smartphone maker have  started seeding out the stable OTA to Honor 9 and Honor V9. To recall, the Huawei Mate 9 series already received the update earlier. Honor V9 EMUI 8.0 was introduced with the Huawei Mate 10 series which was launched in October. It is based on Android Oreo and has many new features from both Android and Huawei side. This new update is packed with Picture in Picture mode, auto fill, notification channels, new revamped settings app, new notification centre and several others. But, the update does not bring the PC mode which was made available to the Mate 9 series. To receive the new EMUI 8.0 update, your device must be on the latest build, i.e. B190 for Honor 9 and B208 for Honor V9. In case of beta testers, your device must be on build B322 to receive the update. Hence, update your device to the latest build to receive the EMUI 8.0 Oreo update. As the update is being rolled out via OTA, it might take time to reach every devices. Thus, check for updates in the Settings to trigger the update. The company is releasing the 4GB RAM variant of the phone in the country, same as Europe and China. Originally introduced last month in China, the Honor 7X is the successor the company’s Honor 6X phone. It sports an 18:9 FullView screen of 5.93-inches with full HD+ resolution. The phone is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core Huawei Kirin 659 processor. Other specifications of the phone include a fingerprint sensor, 3340 mAh battery, dual-SIM support and 4G VoLTE connectivity. On the imaging front, there is a dual camera setup on the back of the phone with 16MP and 2MP sensors with a LED flash as well as an 8MP selfie camera on the phone. In terms of the software, the Honor 7X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI5.1. Pricing and availability According to Honor, the 7X will carry a price-tag of INR 12,999 for the 32GB version and INR 15,999 for the 64GB version in the country. It will be available exclusively via Amazon.in beginning December 7. Update: Huawei on Tuesday introduced the Honor 7X for the US, Asia (except China) and European markets at a press event in London. The specifications of the 7X for the US and Europe are same as the Chinese version, except the available RAM and internal storage. The US will be getting 3GB RAM version with 32GB of internal storage. On the other hand, Europe will get the 4GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage. Pricing and availability: The Honor 7X will retail at $199 in the US. The pre-orders open today and the shipping will start December 15. In the UK, the 7X will sell at GBP 269, however the rest of the Europe will get the phone at 299 euros. It is immediately going on sale in all European markets and select Asian markets. The company will be offering the smartphone in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants. Among other specification, Honor 7X includes 16MP+2MP dual rear cameras, 8MP selfie camera and 3340 mAh battery. There is fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE support, and the usual set of connectivity options on the phone as well. In terms of software, Honor 7X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1. There is no word on the release of the Oreo update for the phone at this point. According to Honor, the 7X will be offered in Gold, Blue and Black colours. It carries a price-tag of 1299 yuan ($198) for the 32GB version, 1699 yuan ($258) for the 64GB version and 1999 yuan ($304) for the 128GB version. The sales open October 17 in China. The View 10 is the international version of the company’s V10 phone, which was launched in China last month. Honor View 10 will be available starting January 8, 2018. It is coming to the US, parts of Europe and India. The View 10 is first Honor-branded smartphone to come with Huawei’s Kirin 970 octa-core processor, which includes the i7 NPU for AI tasks. Thus, similar to the Huawei Mate 10 smartphones, the View 10 integrates the artificial intelligence heavily in the features of the phone. From taking photographs to translating text in images, AI is present everywhere in the smartphone. It helps with the face unlock feature, smart lock-screen notifications and a lot more. Other specifications of the phone include 5.99-inch FullView screen with 2160x1080p resolution. The View 10 runs on Android 8.0 operating system with EMUI 8.0. For the photography needs, the phone packs a dual camera setup on the back with 20MP and 16MP sensors as well as a 13MP selfie camera on the front. Unlike the Chinese V10, the View 10 will only have one variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You can check out the detailed specifications later in the report. Pricing According to the Honor team, the View 10 will carry a price-tag of GBP 449 in the UK and 499 euros in rest of the Europe. There is no word on the India pricing at this point, but as soon as I hear something, I will update this report. The phone will be offered in Blue and Black colour options.
