This year was full of 18:9 bezel less smartphones from different OEMs. We saw such screens even on budget smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi, Redmi 5 Plus and Honor 7X to name a few. But, still one major smartphone manufacturer didn’t launch any phone with such display and that is none other than Sony. However, a new set of live images confirm that bezel less smartphones from Sony is just few months away.
   Earlier, these phones were only leaked in renders but now these live images confirm the presence of them. As you can see from the pictures above, one phone comes with glass back, whereas another one comes with metal back. But, both of them come with dual cameras which is also first for any Sony smartphone. As far as specifications are considered, these smartphones will be powered by newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and will come with 6GB of RAM. The main highlight will be displays as they will sport 5.7 inch 4K panel with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Further, they will come with USB type-C and run on Android Oreo out of the box. The above mentioned are the only rumours and leaks that have surfaced as of now. However, more will come out before the launch like any other smartphones these days. Sony’s upcoming bezel less smartphones leak in live images, expected to Launch at CES 2018
Samsung Galaxy A8+ leaked hands on video reveals everything
 Samsung Galaxy A8+ SM-A730F (2018), which was earlier expected to be called Galaxy A7 (2018), has appeared as a part of a hands on video on YouTube. This video not only shows the phone in detail, but also reveals the full specifications.The video quality is not amazing, but it is clear enough to give us a decent idea of what to expect from the smartphone. It is embedded at the end of the report. Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) leaked specificationsAs rumoured, the phone will be sporting a 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with slim bezels and 2220x1080p resolution. It will be sport a metal build and pack a dual camera setup on the front with 16MP and 8MP sensors. On the rear, there will a 16MP single camera.In terms of the processor, the phone is powered by 2.2GHz Samsung Exynos 7885 octa-core processor. There is also 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory, microSD card slot and 3500 mAh battery in the phone. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.  Among other features, the A8+ (2018) will be IP68 dust and water-resistant and packs NFC support, USB Type-C port, a fingerprint sensor and fast charging. In related news, the manual of the Galaxy A8+ (2018) has been spotted on the Samsung website, which confirms many of the above details. Also, since the same manual is meant for Galaxy A8 (2018) (SM-A530F) smartphone as well, we can expect to see the same design, Infinity display, dual front cameras, Android Nougat, NFC, and fingerprint sensor in the A8 (2018). The pricing and exact availability details of both phones are still unclear, but the publishing of the official manual on the company site and the retail unit leak in the hands on video indicate that we are likely to see an announcement very soon.

Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Android Oreo test build leaks out
Samsung has been beta testing Android 8.0 Oreo for their flagship Galaxy S8 for a while now. But, still they didn’t start beta testing for the Galaxy Note 8. But, the test Oreo build for the unlocked Galaxy Note 8 (US variant – Snapdragon 835) leaks out by a random Reddit user. The user even posted the links for the ROM as well as steps to install it.
 In order to install that leaked test Oreo build on your Galaxy Note 8, you must be on the latest build which is N950USQS2BQK2. However, this build is now only available on the Verizon unlocked variants. But, you can install this build on any unlocked variant which is necessary to install the leaked test Oreo build. As the Oreo build is a test one, it might contain some major bugs and problems. Hence, it can’t be used as a daily driver. Also, install the build only if you have some knowledge regarding ROMs and similar stuff. Because, if anything goes wrong your phone may not come under warranty and you will have to pay extra charges to revert it back to normal. Anyways, if you are interested in trying this build, here’s the link to that Reddit post. However, Samsung will be rolling out stable Oreo updates to its smartphone lineup starting January according to Samsung Turkey. Huawei Nova 2s was launched at an event held in China on Thursday. The smartphone is Huawei’s latest mid-range offering and comes with up to 6GB RAM, bears a 6-inch 18:9
bezel-less display, and sports four cameras.
The Huawei Nova 2s will be offered in two variants - 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM - priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 26,300) and CNY 2,999 (Rs. 29,300) respectively. Huawei has also

As we mentioned, the Huawei Nova 2s has 128GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via
microSD card (up to 256GB). Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi among others. There is also a 3340mAh non-removable battery powering the internals.

E-retail giant Flipkart has revealed that it will be offering great deals on some very popular Android smartphones during its upcoming Big Shopping Days sale. The company is running the sale from December 7 to December 9.As a part of the retailer’s Mobile Big Shopping Days deals, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones will start from INR 49,999 (just INR 39,999 after a credit card EMI offer). The Pixel 2 will get a flat discount of INR 11,001 as well as several other offers to further reduce the price. The Pixel 2 XL is also going to get a flat discount, but Flipkart hasn’t the confirmed the deal amount at this point. To remind you, normally the Pixel 2 starts from INR 61,000 and the Pixel 2 XL from INR 73,000.
For Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, which were introduced just last month in the country, these are some amazing discounts. If the huge launch prices deterred you from buying these phones, the Flipkart sale is going to be a great opportunity to snag them at a discount.
Xiaomi’s Android One phone Mi A1 will also be getting INR 2,000 flat discount during the Flipkart sale, taking the price of the phone from INR 14,999 to just INR 12,999. Mi A1 is the best smartphone in its price-segment and with this discount, it become a no-brainer for anyone looking for a great sub-INR 15K smartphone.
Flipkart will have deals on several other Android smartphones as well, like the Redmi Note 4, but it has not revealed those deals at this point and we will likely hear about them on the first sale day itself.

 Update (Nov 27): Oppo has announced the pre-orders for the 6GB RAM variant of the F5 are now open at Flipkart.com. The phone will start shipping December 1. Earlier (Nov 2): Turns out Xiaomi’s new Redmi Y1 isn’t the only selfie-focussed smartphone to be launched in India today, Oppo has also introduced its F5 Android phone in the country. Introduced last month in Philippines, the Oppo F5 is a mid-range smartphone. According to Oppo, the F5 sports a unibody design with a 6-inch full HD+ screen. It is powered by an octa-core Media MT6763T processor and will be offered in two RAM variants – 4GB and 6GB. The 6GB version comes with 64GB of internal storage and the 4GB one comes with 32GB of internal storage. For the photography needs, the company has packed a 20MP selfie camera on the front with f2.0 lens and a 16MP camera on the back with f1.8 lens. The camera app on the phone comes with an AI-powered beauty recognition technology, which the company claims will help the consumers in capturing great selfies with the phone. This tech is using artificial intelligence to scan your eyes, nose, cheekbones and jawline to offer natural looking, but still enhanced and beautiful selfies. Additionally, the F5 includes dual-SIM support, microSD card slot, and a 3200 mAh battery. On the software front, there is Android 7.1.1 Nougat on-board with ColorOS 3.2 skin. Oppo has also packed a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. Pricing and availabilityThe OPPO F5 4GB RAM version has been priced at INR 19,990, and will be available in Black and Gold colours. It will go on sale beginning November 9. The 6GB variant of the F5 carries a price-tag of INR 24,999 and will be available starting December 2 (see pre-order update on top). Oppo also plans to launch a F5 Youth edition in the country next month. No word on the pricing of the Youth edition.In related news, Oppo has also launched the F5 in Malaysia today, where it has been priced at RM 1298.
